The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or USFDA) is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, one of the United States federal executive departments. The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements etc. The FDA also enforces laws under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act and associated regulations, many of which are not directly related to food or drugs. Better Industrial's food grade products meet the FDA Title 21, Part 177-2600 standard.

Reach Compliance

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) the law entered into force on 1 June 2007. The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances. At the same time, REACH aims to enhance innovation and competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. REACH applies to all chemicals or chemical products imported or produced in the EU. The European Chemicals Agency will manage the technical, scientific and administrative aspects of the REACH system.

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)

Under REACH, substances that are one of the following can be regarded as substance of very high concern(SVHC): carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction (CMRs); persistent, bio-accumulative and toxic (PBTs); very persistent and bio-accumulative (vPvBs); seriously and / or irreversibly damaging the environment or human health, as substances damaging the hormone system.  There are 161 substances on the SVHC candidate list.  We ensure our materials are sourced from reputable suppliers that manufacture quality products free from SVHC.

CE Certification

CE-certification or CE Marking is a conformity marking consisting of the letters “CE”. The CE Marking applies to products regulated by certain European health, safety and environmental protection legislation. The manufacturer affixes the marking in order to be allowed to sell his product in the European market. CE is an abbreviation for ‘European Conformity’. The CE Marking indicates that the product it is affixed to conforms to all relevant essential requirements and other applicable provisions that have been imposed upon it by means of European directives.
